American Ski Resorts
There are many places to ski around the world, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Here we focus on US ski Resorts and travel times. You may be traveling domestically or internationally, but no matter where you come from, staying near the airport shortens your overall travel time.
Many Ski Resorts in the United States are located near regional airports, allowing you to get to ski resorts near where you live in no time.
- The Largest of the four Aspen Mountains is located just 15 minutes from Aspen Airport. Where there are most ski areas. Which you can go to quickly because it is close, and there you will enjoy skiing.
- Jackson Hole Airport is located near the ski resort of the same name in Jackson Hole, just a 30-minute drive or airport shuttle bus. Jackson Hole Ski Resort is located in the village of Teton. Whatever the lesser known and medium sized blue lanes, each lift can access at least one blue lane, giving you some peace of mind. Guests traveling to Jackson Hole Airport can also access the nearby ski areas of Snow King and Grand Targhee.
- Eagle Vail Airport is close to many ski towns. Near the Beaver Sea, most visitors come from Denver, and many stop at Vail and don't go within at least 10 to 15 minutes of arriving at Beaver Creek. If you Travel to Eagle Vale, Beaver Creek is the first ski area you reach and with fewer people you can experience it. Vail Ski Resort is known, of course, for having most of the terrain in Colorado with great back bowls, as well as front pistes for snowboarders.
- Salt Lake City is an international airport with daily flights from Paris and Amsterdam as well as several American cities including Los Angeles and San Francisco, and it takes 35 minutes to get to the Park City Ski Resort at breakneck speed, and is now the largest in the United States. This ski area is now called Park City Mountain and it is huge and offers endless opportunities for snowboarding even for people who are staying for two weeks or more.
- Named the number one ski resort in North America, Deer Valley Resort is located just 45 minutes from Salt Lake City Airport. It has a large number of luxurious ski areas. It offers quick connections from Park City and Deer Valley to other ski resorts, less than 5 minutes away for you to enjoy historic Main Street, shops, and restaurants.
- Salt Lake City also provides access to other ski resorts in Utah including Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, and more.
- From London's Denver International Airport, at least two flights depart, making it great for UK skiers who want to experience the fun of snowboarding in America. Both British Airways and Norwegian Air offer direct flights during ski season, with United flights added at the end of March/April. With this direct flight, it's then easy to hop straight on a shuttle bus to a Colorado resort. Breckenridge and Winter Park are approximately a two-hour drive away, or sometimes less, depending on snow conditions. Alternatively, Phil and Beaver Creek are just over an hour away. Aspen and Steamboat are also accessible from Denver, but only 4 hours later, so regional airports can be more convenient.
These are some of America's major ski resorts near the airport with a short transfer service, making your trip quick and easy.
